Default Free legitimate Microsoft software...

Hey, didn't know if any of you would be interested in this, but I figured I would let you know just in case.

Apparently if you sign up for their usage collection program and do a few surveys every now and then, they will send you your choice of Windows Vista Ultimate, Office 2007, Money, or Encarta and Maps after 3 months of being in the program.

To sign up go here:
http://wfp.microsoft.com/

I know you can already get all this stuff for free from bittorrent, but I wouldn't mind having a free real copy of the software so I don't have to bother with cracking and patching the software and will have no problems getting updates.

If only I could get a legit copy of Windows XP I'd do it.

Haha yeah I'm still rocking XP, but plan on building an overclocked dual or quad core intel setup in the next few months and wouldn't mind a legitimate copy of vista for whenever the service pack comes out (if it's not already out, I don't keep up with Vista) which will hopefully fix whatever kinks are in it.

Office 2007 is kickass, I just don't use it too much and would rather have a legitimate operating system.

I have one too :P WGA crack FTW.

We're talking about Vista though :P And for once I'd like to have a legitimate install where I don't have to crack or anything.

Buk you running the new ubuntu yet? Howsit?

Nice find man! I ran ubuntu for a little bit.. Very nice, easy to use linux os. Probably the best for any n00b who wants to get into it.. All of a sudden I was running into dual boot problems and just got frustrated so I trashed the linux.. As far as vista,,, the longer you take to use it, the better!! Push it off for a few more months jorsher

What, XP doesn't support multiple processors?
