found a great deal!

Re:found a great deal!
Damn fast n furious movies have completely ruined the reputation of nitrous. They were endorsed by Holley/Weiand to use the brand name Nitrous Oxide Systems. N2O/Nitrous is a generic term used by many other companies such as Zex and Edelbrock. Unless it's a holly double pumper carb with solid floats running a blow thru turbo setup I really hate Holly products (even tho I do run a Weiand intake manifold for the sbc).
If you're going to get it, at least buy the Edelbrock kit.. I'm just not a big fan of Holly products.

I mentioned nitrus as a easy way to get a few more ponies out of the engine, without going through the problem of upgrading the turbos. I wouldnt focus on putting new turbo's in, just upping the boost (which was a givin-of coarse your gonna do that!!) then put a nice little nitrus system on it.--it would be an easy, and a fast way to get that thing scootin- spool the turbos before the launch...

Forced induction with the combination of "NOS/nitrus" is purely beyond me.. you're just asking for trouble there. Like I've always said - nitrous oxide is for pulling teeth and blowing motors.

lots of 1000hp plus supras and rx7s use it as well as some 3000gts. Its not really needed until you have some huge turbos or turbo. You can pick up bigger gains from just free mods and small stuff than spending the money on a nitrous kit.
