I carry my son in his car seat in my rex. The seat belt in the door is kind of pain in the ***, when trying to fasten the carseat. He enjoys it.

ok just for you young guys who dont know ---- about kids... its dangerous to put a kid in the front seat "if" there is an air bag... now if they are in the back seat or front seat in an older car with out airbags... weither it be a civic hatch or a ford ltd... it doesnt matter... i dont care what any one says... because if you think about it... when a kid is in the front seat and buckled in properly with the seat facing the proper direction as per there age... there will be no diffrence between the front seat or back seat in an accident... if the accident is bad enough... your going to die so who gives a ---- about what happens to the kid...

god im just kidding please dont strike me dead...

now if there is an air bag... the back seat is the safest ... but if there is no airbags then everyone is ---- out of luck and let me know how stearing wheels taste...

my car has like 11 airbags... so when i get into an accident its going to feel like i got mugged...

I have a 2 year old son who loves the rex as mutch as I do, he drives with me in it in parking lots, around the track, chills in it at home. He doesnt drive in it. Its not a real safe car, you may never get into a accedent but if you dio how do you explain to your kid when hes 15 and cant use his legs that you made a misjudgment?

hold on a second... if you put your kid in a car seat... no matter what kind of accident you get into ... weither he is in the front or back seat. if there are no air bags the outcome will be the same...

so i dont see why you cant let your kid ride with you..

just get a good car seat...oh and because he will be in the front seat of the rex... push the seat as far back as possible... you dont want your kid to hit his head...

no matter what you do there fucked...
http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/b...7_seats_ov.htm
oh and hear is the only company that actually does rating on car seats ... just to prove car seats dont help...
http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/b...ings/index.htm
if you notice only two companys have a semi passing grade... which means they fucken suck...
so all this hoopla on how you should travel with your kid... is bullshit... i hope pen and teller do an episode on carseats oneday... they are quite useless... there was an inventer on that show for the american dream that has probably the only car seat i would spend go out of my way to get... but he lost the show and his car seat still isnt on the market...

I love the crx but.....
Its lower then most the cars that are going to hit you=bumper into kids head(side impack.
ever open up the door? sheetmetel, sheetmetel, cover
look at the rex's u see in the yard? if they are hit in the door it normaly goes in by about 2 to 3 feet. thats where he would be. posibly getting your kid fucked up isnt wurth driving a cool car, you can get a cheap car for 500 to drive him around in and keep the rex for you and him when hes older

anyone who argus to put a child in a small, under "safty" enginered compaird to today car is a ------- retard
