The best way to fix this problem is to trade it in for a diesel. I have a buddy with a 98 F250 with the spitting spark plugs out problem to.

There are a few reasons for this, you dont just spin them in with a 2.00 socket and hope its good
I know what you're saying, but this was over a year ago. I don't remember quite what was involved, but theres no way I would have fucked up putting in his sparkplugs-- I'm way more careful and tedious with other peoples vehicles than my own. But I guess I can't discount install error-- doesn't ford sell a special socket just for putting in their spark plugs? If they would stop being such jews and stop trying to ---- over the home mechanic, maybe they would have less problems. naggers.

100k spark plug change is about right, we normaly recomended at about 80k, there some ober special plug, that's why there about 8-12 $ each

and 400 $ is a load of crap, i was doin em all day for like 200$

Never had any of em come back for blowing out.

and it wasn't the EGR ...it was a PCM recall, we just posted the recall not....1 month ago, it's on HMT somewhere

on a good note.....if it was your mad skillz that caused the problem, it would have been damn near instant, and not months after the fact

pcm was not reponsable for the flame thrower but it was recalibrated as a fail safe so it could not be possable again. If the spark plug works its way loose over time and ***** up the threads due to improper torque it wont come out instantly. BTW This is the number one reason for plug thread failure according to ford, but anything with 5 threads in aluminuim is asking for problems anyways.
