true but the RX-7's have those crazy *** rotory engines that are a bitch to work on unless you really love working on them or know a good bit. Plus they ping when they are just short of a little fuel and some leak oil out of the exhaust. As for the focus i guess you guys didn't hear , they just recently shoved a 302 ford in one with rear wheel drive ( Hotrod Magazine ) pretty crazy and kinda stupid to me but oh well im not driving it

yea its the 5.0 mustang engine...they did that like 6 or 7 months ago....the swap costs like 12000.

I am a ford tech from north cali. I live and drive hondas only. first things first jeff this site kicks ***..

seccond I have repaired focuses and tauruses like there was no tomorow,water leaks,ignation cylinders,motors,trans you name it.
I have friends that work for honda and they tell me mostly all they do is services and timing bealts. they say a verry small percentige of there work is motor replacements or recalls.
as for your friends car that sucks I had my chevelle catgh on fire back in high school and every one called me car-b-q for like 2 years
