the focus has the second most recalls out of any car ever made by ford.....i believe the new taurus is number one. ford is such a piece of crap...o yea about the 13.5 on the focus...how many lbs of boost was he running?

Couldn't have said it better myself. Every ford that I have ever known anyone owning has had problems. My friends truck breaks down daily. My neighbor used to have an escort. Now they will never own another ford vehicle. This girl at work was always getting stranded because the POS taurus wouldn't start. Ford = ----

on the dyno run 17 was 7-8 psi
dyno run 18 was 8-9 psi

Ford Focus has the highest Safety Recalls in all of automotive history

i think he cranked it to 12 psi for the 13.5
all on stock internals =)

no one was injured thank god they had to jump out of the car while it was crawling at like 15 km/h

just wanted to let you guys know..i am a ford technician by day , Honda tuner by night..not that i really care about ford..but by seeing what comes in..i perform all the recalls, service..we really dont have any real problems with the Focus..if you look up the recalls on them they are all for stupid little things..like the battery cables, or wheel bearing seals.or a wiper moter cover .i have yet to see one come in for anything major..they come in for service(oil change/tire rotation) or the stupid recalls that some of them have( not all)..every brand car has it problems..but not all car manufacturers have the ***** to admit and fix them

the only problem i find with hondas is their weak internals, but other then that, my horn is broke and thats about it.

i know three guys with focuses...and all three of them their tranny went out between 30k-40k miles. and my friends mom just bought an expedition.......the had to take it back cuz the trannny was leaking a lot of fluid.

razorhatch, there's others that have that battery cable recall that have had their car catch on fire.. just like my friend... i'm scared to drive behind Zx3s and ZTS or ZX5s now... wouldn't you be scared?
