I beg to differ, not really seeing how you are calling him "an idiot". He was just testing to see if the setup works or not. To go tune, it's 2.5 hours from here, and it would be a waste to go up there and find out his stuff isn't working.
Notice how he said about 2 psi, and barelly, he was letting off as soon as that happened. The motor is not gonna go boom jjust from giving it 2-3 psi just for couple of hits. Granted some might be unlucky but hey, that's life.

Actually I comfirmed the fact that it was the filter. I took the intake and filter off again and went out to see if it would boost. didnt even build 1psi of boost until 3K+ rpm. put the pipe back on and I build boost at partial throttle. kiss my ***.
