the main reason firefox is better= NO pop ups. I have never had one single pop up since using Firefox. Firefox also has tabbed browsing which is a lot easier than opening ie multiple times if you want to have a bunch of sites up at once.

it doesn't suck if you like a browser full of security holes that allow malicious scripting to occur which hijack the ---- out of your browser, if you like having your homepage changed to www.crazy-------midgetanimalsexpornsite.com or www.comegambleinmy-------casino.com, or if you ------- LOVE popups. also, if you love spyware and adware keep using internet explorer.

After I got my Google toolbar I never had any pop-ups with IE.
I don't ever use more than maybe 2 windows at a time so that really doesn't bother me.
I think I just talked myself into switching back to IE.

hey, whatever works for you 
. if you can configure internet explorer to be secure and work properly, have fun. it is possible to do but its really ------- annoying and you take away alot of functionality by doing so.
