This is a good friend of mine's car. Stock B18b, never has even had the head off. Made 250 hp at 10 psi (4500 ft.). Finished the tuning off on the street and ran 23 psi on the track, 10-15 psi on the street daily driven (~100 miles/day). Best time of 12.0 and took second place in the Summit E.T.s for the season last summer. The motor was pulled with less than 10% leakage this spring to be replaced with a fully built motor.
So yeah, it can be done, it all goes back to tuning and the shape that the motor is in to start with. It can be real dependable, but a stock block won't be so forgiving with say a boost spike or overheating etc.
BTW, congrats xenocron, i'm sure you were probably grinning ear to ear when you saw 300 pop up!

Those are some awesome results for a stock LS. Is this your daily? Because like everyone else, I'm a bit sketchy on how long this'll last. I suppose if you don't rip around everyday you should be okay, but who wouldn't with 300 whp
