But ya.. i think its time to ditch that scoop
or you could route your ait filter there.
I also dont think that syrgical cloth will last too long there. i give it 10 mins before u have a fire.
very nice setup though. (I though u had a rex)?

The manifold isnt painted.... i polished the ---- out of it... but it turned some weird blueish, purple color
?? and it just got dark....... the downpipe i did paint... with high temp aluminum. it turned a bit blue from the flange to the turbo... guess its just to much heat...

Is that downpipe flange hacked off and then welded? I have a t-bird t3 that has the flange that can only point straight back into the motor and Im pretty sure thats what I see on yours, just checking, good job though.
