few pix of my LS block and such
engine tag
exhaust side, posts all jb welded up
beautiful hone on my .020 overbore cylinders
one of my V-8s on my engine stand, that bad boy will have to come off before I get the LS on there
beautiful micropolished standard size crank (yellow main bearings)
bottom of block with my old crank pully in a vice ready to be hack sawed in half keeping only the alternator belt slot.
intake side
this is where I drilled away the little brace piece to get this post as straight as possible to compensate for all the crooked ones I already had.
top of block, you can see a few posts peaking out
here's a pretty good shot of a post.
here's the thread where I posted the block:

Re:few pix of my LS block and such
I don't know if the posts messed up the sleeves to cause the need for an overbore or if it was just engine wear, either way it doesn't matter, it's fixed now.
I'm going to be using wiseco pistons with eagle h-beam rods in a kit from www.raceeng.com on the phone they said it would be $759 for the .020 over kit, I'm guessing shipping is extra.

the machine shop said it needed to be bored so I said ok. does it scare you because it's not normal or because it makes the sleeves want to break?
my step mom bought 2 cases of v8. I like it when it's really cold and you can't taste it too much, or with lots of lime juice and salt.
