Intel is a pretty decent company, that is if you have the cash. Considering the wall that we are at with current semiconductors it's all looking the same to me, some hot *** CPU's at 90nm and only dual cores to spell relief for the fact that USA is so far behind in semiconductor research 
. It's all a matter of features now like ddr2 coming soon sata2 PCIx, crazy *** SLI mode video cards raid arrays 64 bit capabilities, buffer overflow protection on die memory controllers and just other stupid ---- like that, no real raw muscle flexing processor power. Just wait for 2800+ 90 nm socket 939 Amd's when they release the NForce4 board. By then everything should stabilize until dual core CPU's are released.

Our shittiest computers at Vo-Tech are P3's, and just finally got P1 computers for the rest of the schools. Vo-Tech is nice though, our teacher gave us $2g's to play with for computer parts.
