Yo calm down.. Here is a hint. My buddy Steve and his girl went to the local track and both ran the same car in the street nationals.. She won the overall and he sucked ***. Drag racing is not all about how much power your car make..

well you fruitcakes can say whatever you want. a corvette has won the horsepower challange for the last 4 or 5 years.
z06 is about 50k. NSX is about 80k
if anyone in a eclipse beat a c5 vette, the eclipse wasn't stock and the driver of the vette didn't know what he was doing.
put 50k into a integra and a stock z06 corvette will still out handle it. there is more to road racing then top end power.

of course the eclipse wasnt stock, not many cars that are out racing are stock...thats the point. With a total of maybe 3000, that eclipse tore up the vette...sure, he may have better looks to some people and be faster stock, but thats not why we are here posting on this board

use the 3k to put a centriugal supercharger on the corvette. not even close then.
you can't compare stock to non stock cars.
thats like saying the a 96 firebird is faster than a twin turbo porsche... cause the 96 firebird funny car i seen did 8s.

i can compare any car to any car i want, especially when someone is out racing with a bone stock vette. yes, its a testiment to the c5 that it is so fast stock, but its still cool watching a little beater kick the ---- out of it
