Re: Fear... 2009 Corvette LS9
We all should get like a bunch of HMT members chip in some dough, and rent a big *** house boat this summer on a nice lake. I live in southern indiana, but there's 2 really nice lakes w/ marinas. The better one is in Bloomington, Lake Monroe. Brew, fishing, HMT members= tons of fun

Re: Fear... 2009 Corvette LS9
nice vette.
It's a good price for a great car, but of course there is always something else you can blow your money on. Supercars are horrible investments, just buying one garuntees you'll spend a shitload of money.
That's why you get a vette, nice warranty and 10930409x easier to deal with then exotics with rediculous prices for routine maintenance parts like brakes and alternator type ----.

Supercars are for rich men who need to take expensive losses for tax reasons. Hitchhikkr has some funny stories of new Porsches his boss buys, ***** 30k in performance parts on, drives for 4 months then sells at a big loss. Basemodel C5 with a turbo and suspension is poorman's supercar, IMO.

I dunno, perhaps a poorman's exotic, but in order for me to consider a car to be a supercar it needs AWD. There's nothing super about a car that can't get up a hill when it snows, no matter what tires are on it. But that's just me. Modified STi or Evo is closer to what I'd call a poorman's supercar, if only for the fact they can be driven decently in the snow with performance all-seasons.

Good choice, but I'd still say it's too new to be proven yet.
"Nissan says the GT-R will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, finish the quarter-mile in 11.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 192 mph."
Skeet! But it only comes with an auto

btw you're a dumbass and you're going to crash your sweet awd if you think its magic and can plow through snow
evo and stis are junk and only thing super about them is their gayness and price.
