i rescued my cat and she was malnurished and kinda boney when we got her but in the winter time when it was too cold for her to b out all day and night she would get a tummy puoch that would hit the stairs when she ran up or down but then in the summer when she was active she would slim down again. so id say its more on the cats type over anything.
