Sorry to be a buzzkill.
Infact, I have yet to see a 2nd gen NA make it into the 14's without help from nitrous, in which case its not an NA anymore.

cmon there are allot of people runing 180 wp in their fc3s and getting mid 14's. with a monster ported motor and a hella good exhaust i bet i could get into 14,s and even creep up on 13's. and some other mods aswell. durrr.

1st gen rx7's weight a little over 2200 lbs ... 2nd gens weigh in at around 2850. And there would have to be more than just a street port involved with that. a 12a sp is only gonna make about 150hp (depending on the porting) roughly. New lets say its even gutted. Thats still not adding up... I've been around a lot of rotaries, and I've never seen that done, with purly NA and just a regular streetport. Who knows, maybe he is and something phenomenal is going on! :-p
And if kain things hes gonna gain 2 seconds on his et's by putting in a new clutch and street porting his engine, he should really look into buying a pedal bike, or a razor scooter...

just an FYI you wont run 13's in an NA just by doing some gay port. Unless you PPort it and gut the entire car, you wont be running 13's anytime soon in an NA. And PPorts arent cheap, especially since then you will have to drop about quite a few thousand dollars into the engine and engine management. Not an easy task for 13's... lol
