ive noticed an increase here in socal in turbo'd civic's and crx's.....but most of the peeps ive met here that are dont know jack crackle pop about turbo.....all rich boyzzz and there paerents money..its becoming a fad i think...

I've noticed this for a while, it's the "my civic is a muscle car" type thing. I guess in the 60s all the rich punk kids drove around in GTOs and ----.. day and age. There are also plenty of mustang/camero drivers out there too.

I'd say it's definately becoming bigger. With as many kits as I sell to non-hmt members, we may have to start looking for "the next big thing".

I think in general most people mod hondas because it's a fad... duh. There's car people, then there's the people that buy the car for a fad. Example: old mustang gurus vs. all the people that bought one after Bullitt came out... sound familiar? most car guys can recognize who is and who isn't one of us... it's like gaydar.

I bought my honda cause my eclipse broke down... and I needed a car the next day... and i only had 5000 and it cost exactly 5000...

As far as boosting my car... ive been planning it almost since i got it. Did a little research and found the site. this was almost 3 years ago...

I dont want to be a sellout and get a swap... i know i can get more HP with a boosted LS or GSR... but i just want to build up my D-ingleCAm do my own thing and not give a ---- what every other little rich 2000 SI driving, Drag kit sporting, Have everything installed by shop, JDM poser looking ---- has to say..... ---- em... fuckem and their fat wallets.... anyone who doesnt work on their own cars is a poser in my opinion
