Alright guys, I'm in college and I'm broke like every other college student pretty much. Theres two months of school left for me, which isn't really enough to find a job because I doubt they'd hire someone who's going to quit in a few months to go back home for summer.

So what I'm asking is you guys have any ideas to make a few bucks on the side with out a job? No I'm not going to sell drugs, lol.

Go around to places you think you'd like to work that are looking for people. Lie and say you will be staying in the area for summer. Then when summer comes along say, "sorry, I have to go home" and that will be that.

search the local craigslist for broken down cars and turn them.

I made an extra $7,000 profit last year fixing whatever Honda I could find for a good deal in my spare time. And easy fixes too, like SOHC head gaskets and light front damage.


Just need a few hundred bucks to start...ask your parents for it if you don't have it.

I kinda thought about doing that, but I don't have anywhere at school to do it, which is where I spend most of my time. That and it's freezing ***** out here in Utica NY

In the school parking lot that ---- would get towed without a sticker and plates.

its what i did in college....big nights like superbowel sunday, moms and dads weekends I bring in more then 20$ an hour in tips alone (tax free if you dont report it)
plus if you have a good manager you always have a place to eat off campus

Time to man up, you don't have many options. Being nice doesn't get you paid man. Besides, they can replace you easily when its time to go home. Don't worry about it.

Go to a small shop and see if you can work by the day. If they need you they call you. My buddy does this makes like $120 a day, but some days theres no work and no pay.
