I want an exhaust system for a gsr but not anything too loud or not too loud all the time. I see all these exhausts with silencers and was wondering how loud are they with the silencers in place? And whenever I cant to free it up then I can remove it but also want to quiet it down when just driving to work or on long trips.

when my friend first got one on his 89 accord it came with a silencer and still had the sound dedicated to "rice" but when he took it out it was louder but it was even loud with the silencer in. just get some regular mufflers and put tips on the end of the pipe instead of the muffler/tip combo, theres a teg like that around my area and its not loud at all

your GSR probly has a muffler, a pre muffler, a resonator, and a cat. if all you do is replace the last muffler with one of those shinny mufflers, like a apexi N1(if your rich) or just a OBX **** sucker, then it won't be loud at all, espicially with the silencer in.

If your car doesn't have a pre-muffler and a resonator (im not god, I haven't seen every ------- car) then replacing the last muffler with a low quality one will usually leave you with the loudest ------- POS ever.

Remember, The cheaper the muffler, the louder it is.

For a good performance exhaust muffler thats quiet, get a dynomax turbo muffler, they're quiet and will give just a little "rumble" to your exhaust.

i got a skunk 2 and it loud but not too loud and it also comes with a silencer .with the slence in you here some noise but not a lot . just enough.
