Evolution of my Civic

Evolution of my Civic
I was going through some old pics of my Civic and decided to post them on here. I think its funny how far along my Civic has come. It orignially started out as a pile of ----, it has now graduated to a piece of ----. Slowly its comming together to the car I want. When I first got the car it was ready for the dump
I think someone tried to break into it by prying the dooroff
The car was piled with ----, it had about 5 driver's seats in it.
The interior was completely fucked and the wiring was so hacked up like mice tried eating through it.
So I rewired the whole car to OBD1. This was the biggest pain in the *** ever. I rewired everything down to the taillights
The interior is alot better now with a couple trips to the u-pull it. The only thing its missing is a cage and racing buckets but I'll worry about that when the car goes fast enough to need it.
Nice collection of ***** and buttons; nitrous arm, purge, rev limiter, timing retard, boost, turbo timer, and the factory sound system
The engine in the car was pretty well taken apart. Too bad the people taking parts off of it didn't realize the power of the STD manifold.
The little engine that could. I can't believe this motor in this car KILLED my friend who had the same exact car with an LS motor. I was even running the STD trans so I was even at a disadvantage.
cleaned up and in the car
Well it didn't last too long until I knew it needed boost. Nitrous was just too expensive so the clusterfuck of a cheap attempt at some high boost https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...d=9421;start=0

Well that lasted for a while till it came time to stop ------- around and spend some money on a real turbo. https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...threadid=26458
So this is where its at today. From complete nothing to turning into something. I think its cool how the car just keeps getting better and better. Hopefully this season I can start taking it to the track and actually get some decent numbers. Right now I'm finishing up the turbo kit and building traction bars. I'm going to try a limit strap type of suspension cause that seems pretty cheap and gets some good results. B-series may be more powerful but I'm building this car to go fast, not just paint curves on a dyno. 11 second stock block hopefully by this summer.
Anyone else had this same type experience?

Re:Evolution of my Civic
Damn thats a pretty nice change from how it first was to how it is now. Man I love pick and pulls also! I like the new mani but how are you gonna do the charge piping with the snail sitting like that? Either way it'll still be dope whatever you do! Congrads on bringing that thing back from the dead.
