Everybody and JD's mother....
hitting the end button on my cell phone hard enough to try and break it, I return to my quarter pounder with cheese meal.
It was the 3rd time in less than a half hour it had rang with somebody asking about a fucked up car....
My voicemail is full, and this happens all day, every day. Out of comic relief and perhaps somebody to share this frusteration I start sending a text
to everyone's favorite Volkswagon guru, joseph davis.
text #1 "joey, whats the best way of dealing with everyone in their mother calling you for tech questions, my heads about to explode"
text #2 "from the auto parts guys to a couple mechanics at the local goodyear, how do i start charging for this ----?"
text #3 "BTW CRX = Sex, VW = ***, the combination of the two makes you bi-sexual"
i get no reply and continue to eat my lunch, phone rings again, JD's number comes up on the caller id
me: "Whats up ******?"
Female on the phone: "yes, are you trying to send a message to joseph?"
(uh oh...)
me "umm yes mam is this not the right number?"
Female on the phone: "Joseph Davis?"
me:"is this Mrs. Davis?"
Female on the phone: "Yes well I just received three messages, and decided to call after the one about homosexuals, this is his mother"
me: "oh wow, mam I apologize I thought this was his number, I'm sorry those messages were defiantly intended for JD"
Mrs. Davis: "it's quite alright, do you have his number?"
me: "yes mam, I sure do,"
Mrs Davis: "here it is to make sure you have it" ect. ect.
me: "thank you, and sorry again, take care"
end of convo.
10 min later I get a text, quoting my original message part saying "everyone and their mother"
from her saying "HAHAHAH and JD's mother too, I'll tell him you called and send a text"
in short, really cool lady, that seriously could have sucked. I was embarrassed but she was cool about it.
She also agreed that VW's are gay.
