I always take off the side menu cause it takes up room for pictures and ----. Plus I never really use or go to those pages anyways. Ditch that ---- and put it somewhere else. I hate having to see only half of the pictures and having to scroll down to the end of the post to move over the pictures and scroll back up to see the other half.
