Default engine blew again

I blew my engine again, less than a half of tank of gas on this engine af was at 12 to1 I did'nt even beat on it and it blew, never saw redline. I don't have a place to pull the engine so I don't know what to do, it has a 90day warranty so if I can pull it I can get another one. I may have to pay a shop to put another engine in and then I think I'm going to sell the car and buy a v8, something that goes fast with little money or a newer more reliable car. I can't afford to keep doing this stuff since I'm going to school next semester and I'll be broke. Any suggestions on what to buy, I've always wanted a crx si but its hard to find a clean one and plus I don't want to have to put a ton of money in a car again to make it fast and reliable. I was also considering a 5.0 fox body with trunk. Or I could be like my parents and buy a new focus

There is no such thing as a fast yet reliable car, when things move fast they usually break.

If you want a fast car get the CRX and do a swap, if you want a reliable car then get a toyota echo.

there are plenty of "fast" and reliable cars. they are all stock and probably expensive.

Do a HMT 5.0 mustang. They have a pretty awful interior but parts are plentiful and cheap.CRX's can be had for cheap as well just buy a DX etc and do a multiport swap it takes probably 6 hours and $200 bucks at most to complete.Drop a good D16 in or a LS swap as there cheap and a little HMT your instantly fast.CRX is super light so you really dont need much power to go quick.

well fairly reliable is what I meant, engines not blowing in less than 1000 miles, Its really hard to find a clean crx in mn, but clean 5.0s are pleantiful here.

learn to tune you retarded ******, engines just dont magically blow up, they blow up because there is something wrong. it was probably running lean as ----, too much timing, less than par gas, and you were probably beating the ---- out of it on a hot *** day.

this is you

"dur im gonna put a turbo on my car durr"
"durr okay the turbo is on and the car is running durr thats all that matters durr"
"buhm durr why my engine blow up? me no know, durrr, me put new one in"
"yay new engine turbo again durrrp"
"durr me give up, me am too stoopid to understand any concept of tuning, and to learn from my previous mistakes to why the first engine blew up, so being stubborn and stupid i blew up two engines when i didnt even have to blow up one durr"

stop being stupid, find out what went wrong, why it went wrong, and what you can do to prevent it from happening again

hey dip shiit I did learn how to tune, I had a wideband hooked up to it, timing was set, wideband was hooked up when it blew, air fuel ratios were at 12 to 1(after a few hours of tuning and a basemap from midnightracerx). The old engine also had bad compression to begin with, this one was stated to have 185 across the board when I bought which is pretty good for an fblock. It was also 38 degrees outside and I did'nt beat on it since the engine was put in. Well atleast my car has'nt gotten stolen yet.

Why are you even still on these boards, if you look in your my z got stolen thread nobody likes you, even your parents thats why the kicked you out, they realized your a loser who talks alot of ----, You got what was coming to you and maybe I did too, I tryed to fix all the problems with my old setup and I did'nt even drive it until a wideband was hooked up to it,but maybe its a sign that I need to sell my accord and move on to something better, maybe its possible I was just sold a bad engine, I put less than 100 miles on it, and I heard a missfire was going to pull over then insane amounts of smoke. I'm curious as to why it blew but I won't know till its torn apart which won't happend since its still under warranty so I'll just get another one leave it na and sell the car and buy something else, I did almost everything I could possibly do to this car and its time to move on, it was'nt good enough. It was my first build and I was thinking about selling it after it got tuned and I raced it one more time anyways.

so you went from " i need to have my tuner tune it because im too stupid" to "i tuned it perfectly" haha yeah ------ right, if it was 12:1 that is optimal, but for saftey i would have richened it up. and you dont even know what youre talking about when you say "timing is set" for your own good, you probably shouldnt tune your car, or anyones for that matter. but as for me, im out to tune my friends Z6 via uberdata, and i know i wont blow anything.

He taught me how to tune before he left, yeah I'm not great at it yet and it takes awhile, but now I'm out alot of money and the car is going up for sale as soon as a stock engine is put in and a complete trubo kit will be for sale also.
