Well, the move is getting closer, and with driving the moving truck and towing the family car behind it, there's no room for the HF. I was trying my best to transport it, but with the MN. winter coming, there really wouldn't be a point for the next 5 months or whatever. With a big move like this I'd like to have some funds in the bank to give me time to settle in to the new house. So, this SUNDAY AUG 22 @ 9AM
130 Lexington, Upland, Ca <--moms crib
we will be dismantling the HF. All the parts will more than liekly go to ebay for top dollar sales. I would love to throw freebies out to the homies, but once again, the money will be needed.
88turbocrx will be bringing a stock exhaust, stock shifter, dx longblock, and some other shiz so that we can turn this into a running car and hopefully get about $1500 for it. The original plan was to "shell it" but with the motor now available, we won't need to do it.
SO CAL, WHERE YOU AT? I'm gonna need you guys on this one. The following parts will be available. (All parted out)

**89 crx hf. Clean Title, some minor dents. Dx motor/trans. Basically stock. $1500 obo

**D16y8- block posts, srp 9.1, eagle, new oil pump, water pump, gaskets, seals, bearings,,,, the whole nine. Built for boost. (Shortblock)approx. 4k miles on it.

**D16y8- freshly rebuilt head. Taken apart, mild port cleanup, new seals, valve grind, put together right with y8 IM and LS throttle body. approx. 4k miles on it.

**Inividual runner D series turbo manifold. Excellent design over using an hf.

**T3 48/60 off a t-bird. Housings cleaned and new hardware for housings. Water/oil cooled. No smoking whatsoever. I'm imagining the shaft play should still be none like when I put it on there 4k miles ago. Will include stainless water lines.

**Crx charge piping complete with 1g dsm bov. (This will all be sold with the new purosil couplers and not parted out)

**Clutch Specialties 6 puck unsprung (from Mike) 6k miles. Never even thought about slipping once. 15psi couldn't shake that thing.

**Custom coach center/center intercooler. One side painted black, one side is still bling. This will include the brackets that Ghetto D fabbed up for me.

**Freshly chipped pm6. Chipped by xenocron. I never even got a chance to use it.

**Single oil feed line. (Drain lines are always best started from new)

**Firewall kit to run external oil press. sender

**B&M short shifter for 88-91

**Walbro 255lph fuel pump. 6k miles.

**v-afc version 1

**Expensive *** boost gauge (recall, peak, warn, ect)
Oil press. gauge w/ sender
air/fuel
(all matching)

**Autometer shift light w/ 6800 rpm pill

**Greddy Profec B electronic boost controller.

**Sprint 2 1/2" drop springs for 88-up civic/crx

**Tokico front struts

**gsr shift ****

**oil cooler

**simpson 5pt harness

**full 2.5" exhaust

**battery relocation kit with hella cutoff switch and box

That's all I can think of right now, and yes, I'm sorry for the shameless plug.

So Cal, lets do dis.
(we need a stock fuel pump too if we're gonna get the walbro out.)

Ahhh...Mode...I'm dying reading this post! Killing the HF off...a sad day indeed.

But I'm looking forward to your next project. Good luck with the sales!

My next project will be a competetive Sport FWD car built for NHRA. It will take time to settle into the new house, but that is my next mission. (After the 1000cc turbo go-cart)

Go ahead, say I'm kidding.

How much for the clutch, and what would it take for the short block?

The go cart won't be really built for driveability, as much as it will be just a raw display of power. I'm thinking about 20" slicks on the back, bicycle spokes on the front and fabbing up a wheelie bar that will allow me to ride 6" wheelies down the street for the kids.
And don't even think about stealing my idea.

Oh, and the parts are hard to say what they'll go for. As stated before, I'm trying to get every last dime out of this stuff for the move, so we're going ebay with it. I'd love for all of you to say "stealthmode hooked that ---- up" but unfortunately I'm not in a position to do that (and not end up homeless in a year)

Sorry to hear that you have to part your "baby". Well, at least you got some experience out of it, that i'm sure you will use for your next setup. Good luck with the moving.

PS- How much are you looking to get for the turbo kit with no piping? I have a 91 SI fuel pump if you need it. Let me know.
