mid engine b18 h22 on a scratchbuilt frame with a carbon composite body
No boost though.

Those are some cool cars, just not sure about the price.

Jorsher are you sure that doesn't have a Busa engine? In the latest GRM there's a light slate blue mini like that with a built-from-scratch frame with a Busa powerplant... possibly turbo. I remember it because the guy used the sprocket as a brake disc to save room and weight. I'm assuming it has a solid axle or a sprocketed differential like a Snapper/Toro/Craftsman mower would have.

kimini's an H22. It's also for sale. The Book's awesome, well worth the money. Carbon composite body is heavier than anyone would assume due to being filled with so much gelcoat.

Sad thing is, I read the book and still put b18. Got it mixed up with someone else's build.

I'm sure, he wrote a book on it.

Busa car would be cool though.

Must be a different Mini build, or maybe the same guy built another.

Can you reference the article? The way that it sounds is that whoever built this used a sprotor design linked to a differential unit designed off of a sourced ATV unit. The differential unit on these bike engined cars are pretty amazing, because they can be tuned to the cars dynamic loading and also the driver style. I searched Grassroots but couldn't find it.

It may not have been GRM, but it's definitely in one of the mags that were at Books-a-million last week.
