As far as my opinion.....KAWASAKI NUCKAS!!!! I've had 3 kawasaki's and loved everone of them!! 1st the 02 zx6r, then my girl got a 06 ZZR (same ----) then traded it for an 03 ZX6R 636 (bad *** little 600) then i stepped up to my ZX10R! My favorite bike!!! Dont get me wrong though......if i ever got another bike it would be the GSXR1000 04-06 models..... but to answer your question. between the two i'd definatly go for the suzuki

i'd take the cbr 600 f4i over the gsxr 600 any day of the week. i've ridden both on a as a dialy driver and i think the CBR handles WAY better then the Gsxr. a few things that the gsxr has over the CBR is it's a more comfertable for riding compared to the cbr. the suspension is setup for a smooth ride and operation. the power output of each bike is roughly the same. but the CBR in my opinion is far more funner of a bike. it jsut handles better when your pushing the bike. sure it takes a toll on your body.
oh yeah btw the r6 is considered a stunter bike. it boast the most output in power, by far the must stunted bike in the sport cycle scene, out handles the cbr too i think. it's also the most dropped bike and damage bike known to history. it's chasis design doesnt let much room for error when riding. far too many people i've seen drop a r6 for no reason.
i've also owned a Kitanna 600 that sucked *****. i have also ridden a the kawaisaki zx-6, but i must point out that the even the zx6 is much of a bike for a noob. but that handles quite well if i remember correctly.
it's really your choise. but i personally would get the CBR f4i. or if your like me save some money learn on the older f3 carberated 600 cbr. Weighs more then current day liter bike. chasis made of indestructable steel. you can drop your bike and not be too pissed about it. i payed 2k for a 95 cbr f3 with 20 k miles on it. now that was a really good deal honestly.

only advice i have for you is buy a bike with fucked up farrings/gas tank or that has been put down once. all my friends that have bikes (3) fucked their first one up. and one died, plus my roommates brother died on one 2 spring breaks ago. minds well just get a 600 with high resale value and beat the hell out of it, if you don't like the twisties or you drag race nitrous vipers on the regular sell it and get a 1000cc+
