yo bud, how on earth did a honda fail an etest... thats messed up.
you can get a condition only if the car was in your name when you had to go get the etest, if you bought the car and it needed to be etested you can get a conditional

They've really clamped down on the fake etests. I tried last summer and it cost me 70$ for one. The guy tried 5 different fake tests and after that I gave up. It turned out to be my o2 sensor so swapped it out and passed no problem. If you know a mechanic at Crappy Tire, try and get him to hook you up , other than that, good luck.

My 93 4 door failed when I got it, 230,000kilomites, thankfully after, I found out the E test was on record, spent $70 for nothing, they're supposed to be getting rid of the E teast soon. maybe 4-6 more years when cars start switching to OBD3, and then the government will have the ability to monitor your emissions via satelite, how cool eh? ------- communist government.

hey chris.
if your cat is messed then you'll need a new one or at least one from a friends car that will help you pass. one tip i learned from a honda tech is to retard your timing as far as you can without the engine stalling and try it then.
he had an 88 civic 4dr that failed miserably. he retarded the timing as far as it could but still running and he passed.
give that a shot
