Re: E 85 Update
Isn't it like 85% gasoline and 15% ethanol or the other way around?? I also think people are gonna see that the whole "OH ETHANOL IS GONNA RUIN YOUR VEHICLE" is just a bunch of BS that politicians and oil tycoons are trying to scare the public with. They want to keep getting rich off of us no matter what the cost...I too would MUCH rather support a US FARMER than those MIDDLE EASTERN NUTJOBS who keep getting richer and richer...I find it funny that the price of a drum of crude oil is as cheap as it has been in years, yet the price of gasoline is out of this world...

Re: E 85 Update
well i live in madison, wi where its commonly available. and i just run it straight and compensate for 30% more fuel with the vafc. Prices vary right now i'm paying $2.49 a gallon cause the oil companies are buying all the ethanol they can for use in gasoline which inflates the price of ethanol. during the winter it was $1.99 a gallon

Re: E 85 Update
is it available to you in a pump or is there a special dealer who controls that? i have never seen an e85 pump around central texas area so i don't know, sorry if its a dumb question. Who knows maybe its like race gas, gotta go to someone who supplies it, not at a gas station.

Re: E 85 Update
Its available at the pump at a few gas stations in my area. Do a google search for E 85 suppliers in your area there are several sites that have a data base of all ethanol stations in the US although i know its mainly a midwest deal you might be able to find one in texas.

Re: E 85 Update
But even with that happening, you will still supporting our economy, not some towl head arab. i would rather pay a little more and give back to my people that to them. and we will be able to produce it here in the states, so prices should go down becuase there isn't a need to ship it across the world now.
