You are a tard. The ------- throttle cable stuck on my carb. Give me a damn break. It wasn't on purpose. You bashing the ---- out of other owners looks real cool too. And honestly, I am not even sure how mine did break. I shut it down as soon as it stuck open, so it didn't reach anything over 10K.

um... changing the oil maybee?? also, reving the **** out of it seems to do good. just regular preventative maintenence.

Wow taking it a little personal.I am a moron and your right, the RX7 is ultra reliable and its all rumors and made up lies from other morons who didnt "rev the **** out of it enough"

Thanks I love you too.

I just keep it as a keepsake. The damn motor was a 220,000 mile 12A, when this happened. And it kept running for another 20 before it finally went.

I am honestly not sure how it happened but it did. And have you ever owned a carbed rotary before? This even happened on my holley once, for no damn reason but it was between shifts and I caught it and shut the car down. I think it had something to do with binding in the mechanical secondaries. BTW the damn rotor didn't fly out, it just sent part of a contact out the side.

ok explain to me then, how mine has perfect compression, gets redlined every time i shioft it, yet take care of it and change fluids regularly, when it has 200k miles on it? explain that to me.

Because they are great simple motors if you know how to deal with them and take care of them. And you must be doing something right. I did the same thing to my regularly, it never gave me any problems at all. Besides that dizzy issue and low fuel pressure randomly.

o ok. indestandable. and yes i owned anothger rx7 for 2 months before i sold that bitch to some old *** dude who wanted it mainly for parts. it had a 4 port 13b in it.

Hell yea man. The old 13B. I always wanted to do one of those. I have always been stuck with 6 ports 13bs and 12as. The best setup I had was a carbed ported 6 port in my 85. Had the racing beat carb setup and junk. I still have it, the motor is just sitting out of the car. I can't decide what to do with it, put it back in with a different carb setup or sell it. I had everything to turbo it and sold it all. It had megasquirt all ready and programmable for it and all. Oh well, makes me sad. It hasn't moved for 8 months.
