i dont get some peoples logic.
ok lets assume everyone was carrying a gun. how would crime be any different. criminal are criminals because they do illegal stuff. they are going to get there hands on a ------- gun regardless if they are illegal or not so why punish the law abiding citizens and make it so they cant protect themselves from said criminals. i dont know about you but when i get my first gun in not going to do more illegal stuff or murder people for ***** just because i have access to a gun.
im not really sure what all the anti gun people are trying to ban, are they trying to ban the carrying of guns all together or just the sale of guns to people who arent permitted? im all for carrying guns and im currently waiting for my CCW permit to get here and i think anyone who wants to carry a gun should be able to as long as they have a permit and arent criminals.

that douchebag that got shot 4 times at virginia tech was actually on some talk show this morning saying how he doesn't think th esituation would have changed a bit if somebody in the room ha a concealed weapon. and he is STILL saying that he doesn't think you should be aloud to carry on a college campus. him and his dad are going for tougher gun laws so they can keep guns out of the hangs of guys liek the one that shot all those people. when will peoepl realize that its the honest citizens they are punishing when they make them tougher? a criminal is just that, a criminal. so why woudl they care if it was illegal for them to carry a gun? they wont but now they know that if they want a better chance not to get shot at while committing a violent crime they can just goto a "gun free" zone liek a college campus.

One thing nobody against guns understands is that there is no way to "prevent" shootings from happening, but you can stop them with a gun.
