dam, that's exactley what I try to tell people when I argue that all religion is crap people decided to believe, but I can never find the words! perfect!

i usually try to explain it with the concept of fear. humans fear what they do not know, and since before religion no one knew what happened after you died- which is something that does scare a lot of people even today, I'm sure there are people who decided what happens after death and told others, and other people believed it because it mad them feel calm about death. take that one religion with allah in it, what happens when you die? you go hang out in a place and ---- virgins all day.. come on now

very true. I consider myself religion-less as well. I just believe in ethics and all that good ----. some say I could be considered bhuddist, because i'm a believer of treat those how you want to be treated.. unless they deserve it

I'm not religious either. I'm a good person. Just because I dont beleive in something that is in a book, does this mean I'm going to hell? I'm not a bad person. I treat people right and front up respect to all people until they disrespect me. then I forget they exist. I really wish there were a way to know if heaven and hell are real. A good friend of mine died the other day, and it always makes people feel better to think that they are in heaven, but is there really heaven? I just have huge issues with blind faith.

The meaning of life? How does being a christian make you anyt better than I am. Its funny, religion has caused nothing but killing and hatred throughout its existance, so keep goin to church and keep giving your money to men who enjoy pumping -------.
