I loved my EK. too bad its trash now. Stupid unfixable ELD. perfect body and freshly rebuilt engine and id be lucky to get 2K for it.

electric load thingy. It's in your engine bay fuse box on a Honda or alternator for EF's (i think).

no ---- if ya have a bad eld will it pop any fuses i had a crx that would run for a while and then start popping ecu fuses and i never figured it out sold that bitch to a mexican for 300$ ...oh and it would over heat while driving car and the cool down when you stopped...car was whack...

No it is not in the alternator on EFs. Same place as the rest of the cars.

I still don't understand how the ELD made you have to sell a car.

As far as I know it only tells the engine when to raise to RPM via the IACV to compensate for when a heavy load is put on the alternator.

God, no wonder the cops in Carlisle are such hardasses! That guy's got a lot of nerve to be doing ---- like that right on teh showfield... a buddy of mine did a little first-gear mini-pull up that hill (on the pavement) last year and the showfield rent a cops were on us like flies on ----. Pretty funny to see a 300hp Cosworth being pulled over by two fat women in a golf cart. :1
