I think maybe the CRX with a B16 you saw beating a turbo hatch was mine. I'll post the vid here in a second.
Anyway the DSM was a manual. It did run like ***. He said he got it into 3rd gear and it just wouldn't go anywhere which is a sign of a failing transmission. Any way you slice it he never beat me out of the hole, he never pulled past me, and the only time he put up a decent race was when I let him get the jump from a roll. Even then I started pulling him in real fast.
This guy is a real idiot...he spent all week gutting out his car for this race. Now he's all pissed because he says he couldn't shift right and his car was acting up. I think he's just pissed because he got beat by a honda. An all motor honda at that.
Just tonight he left me a message on my computer that if I didn't stop posting stuff online about how I beat him really bad and what not then he was going to come after me to whip my ***.

Yeah it was definately his tranny that fucked up...whether it didn't fully engage third or he just missed it - I don't know. Basically he said he got it in gear, floored it, and nothing happened.
