Default DSM bov good shape?

Hi

Sorry if my english is not good.

I have some problem and think is because de Dsm bov.

Install a homemade turbo kit on my civic and can't get more than 4PSI on the clock. revised all the IC pipping , waste and silicone tubbing. it's OK

today looking for some fail, I see that my DSM stock BOV intakes air across the exit ram to the engine when I push the pedal on the depresive zone. Is it a normal action? is an indicator for a broken valve on pressure ?

can't imagine another thing....

well if it letting out the air while in boost then thereis a problem. The DSM BOV is good to 25psi strong. Any leaks under that and there is an issue. Let me know if you want to buy another dsm bov in good condition. i have one off my dsm

OK.. the problem is partially solved.

it has the wastegate... it starts to open at 4psi and makes the engine fall down.

Now I put a boost regulator to 8PSI...

But it don't work perfect...

Now when i make a long WOT the pressure jump to 8 psi but it falls slowly to 4psi another time.

still the waste

Id look at the wastegate and if the bov leaks slightly at idle its kinda normal the dsm BOVs have a tendacy to do that. Also if you dont have the exhaust flow, the car wont boost much... however i dont think thats your issue, the wastegate is set to 8lbs and if your daring like me, pull the hose off the wastegate and see if it boosts past 8, it should. you have to be real easy when you do that test cause if you rail the gas it can spike to 20+
