You never once mentioned balance shafts removed, and according to the one pic with the motor upside down it still has the balance shaft belt on it. And I'd take on your uncontrolled DSM wannabe knowledge any day bitch-***** and cram it back up your *** with my unleashed Honda/DSM/Subaru building and tuning knowledge. And trying to overshadow your homosexual ways with the "predominantly" Honda comment just goes to show the average age and income on here, not the knowledge base. Don't ---- with the old guy.
Uh oh, someone's having their period. You are the old guy? Well someone get me a goddamn wheel chair. Don't bring your little baby nuts in this thread just to talk ---- princess. Go back to bed and spoon with (original) Widebooty93 ***-bag.

I voted I hated you, even though I don't. However, please notice which poll option is far and away winning, -------.

BTW, I have a friend who has campaigned a 160K mile stock 6 bolt bottom end for the last two years at the 375-400 whp level. All I know is it pegs the boost gauge a hair past the 30 psi mark, amd LOVES it. He strips 2nd gear out of his trans twice a year and his transfer case lube is filled with gold glitter whenever he changes it, but it holds. Miracle car.

I think it will hold..It's hit or miss i noticed with these 7 bolt engines. My dsm has over 170,000 miles
and i boost the **** out of it.I also have a six puck installed.Never had a problem, except alternators.
Big amps that draws alot of juice is a no no with a dsm.

LOL, I voted I hate Tough-Girl too. I knew the CRX would be the win. Gone are the days 3H dominates polls. This isn't goning to be a high boost application. I plan to have a little fun with it then de-tune it and give it to my sister when I go to the Marine Corps. I'll probably only set it at 8-10 lbs becuase my sister can't drive for ----.

A stock ED is worth more than your build if you had stuck with it. EM1 is a form of failure.

yeah a em1 is over rated.I just picked it up cheap 2 years ago.It was a theft recovery and i only spent 250 on it from the tow yard.
I just figured a built non vtec sohc would blow people away ( mind wise).I've spent way more for machine shop labor than i have on anything.
I'll be a sohc lover for life. It's the way it goes.I've played with civic's for 15 years...Never onced went with another car until now.
The thieves have just gotten alot worse over the past 6 years.I could not even park my old civic at the store without worrying.

Yes, I am the old guy although not as old as some...but I'm sure I'm still plenty older than most on here (and I'm still older than you ) so go easy with the baby nuts comment lol. Compared to me you're still the noob anyway, so I flame who and when I want according to my own free will.

You'll find I have plenty of humor...just give it time. It's the typical DSM hatred on this board, and ever since I switched from honda to DSM exclusively I've seen more than my fair share from here, and I don't frequent the site anywhere near as much as I used to. Sorry to say it, but even though I cut my teeth with this site, it really doesn't hold anything useful for me anymore other than the occasional good laugh and chance to pick on noobs who get butt-hurt way too easily. Have a nice day.

Ive seen engines run for up to 20min with no oil so im going with that.

I stand by my quote that DSM's are junk. The 4g63 is ------- awesome and can make stupid power just because they can hold boost. Everything attached to the motor is ------- pathetic though. The engine/drivetrain was designed for a car that soaking wet tipped the scales at 2500lbs. The lightest of factory dsms weighs 2750.

Harness is junk. ECUs have always been junk. Just generally a mechanics car. A properly built and maintained dsm (read:dragstrip warrior) is a thing of beauty, but the sad truth is that most arent. Not to mention the fact that 5 years ago, nobody wanted anything to do with them, and now they are so popular, parts are ------- OMG JDM 2JZ supra expensive. The newest of these cars is approching 10 years, which makes it even worse. Bleh.
