I have an additional note to add.

If vicodin doesn't effect you - this isn't abnormal sometimes the neural receptors are immune (this is due to evolution in humans, your parents probably took this medication. Our bodies naturally reject this stuff - thats why we become tolerant).

If vicodin doesn't work its not the only pain killer, and it certainly isn't the most effective. You can try NON codene based medications, such as tramadol, celebrex (this is mostly for arthritic caused pain or joints), esgic plus, butialbital w/ caffeine (generic for Fioercit), Imitrex, Naprosyn, Naproxen (generic Naprosyn), Ultracet, Vioxx and finally Zebutal.

These are all pain relievers and have different effects other things to keep in mind. My liver is probably destroyed now because of all the overdosing I did on vicodone. They will all take their effect on your liver, and long term effects are unknown.

As I mentioned during my sobriety I've been having seizures and memory loss, and this feeling that I'm like completely out of my mind (I guess they call this temporary mental lock) its like my whole body is on fire.

Anyways hope this information helps ANYONE and everyone on these message boards. And by the way I am taking classes now in medication because I want to know specifically what I did do to myself

I know what it's like, ive seen what its like, felt it. Id rather not say what, for some friends are on here and they tend to judge you on ---- you've done. But it'll get harder, just take it one day at a time, and concentrate on your car or some other hobby. And don't do the "just one more time" thing, cuz it wont be just once. Stay strong mang.

people don't realize the severity of 'pharmies', they think just b/c they're prescription, they can't be bad, but when abused, they're just as bad, if not worse than any other narcotic. glad to hear you're o.k. and seem to have realized that you can't do that any more. some times it takes people to hit rock bottom before they realize they have a problem. when my wife and me were dating, we use to party a lot, neither one of us worked b/c i was making good money doing illegal activities, so we had all the time in the world and stayed fucked up. well, one night, she went in this dudes jacket that always had pharmies and took some pills from him, thinking they were just some zanex's or something, she took the biggest pill in there and started acting really fucked up so i started worrying, she told me what she did so i talked to the dude and found out it was an 80mg oxycoton this is the drug that kids were dying off of like 20mg doses, it was scary ----, but we kept her up all night and induced some vomiting, but she was fucked up for like three days, neither one of us have touched pharmies since

Ambien will put you to sleep if you're having insomnia problems. But only take it for at max 7 days then wait a month before taking it again.

This has got even better I'm being faced with charges for intent to sell because all the sites I ordered from KEEP sending me medications (despite my requests to stop). And my grandparents have freaked out over it, I took one sleeping pill last night and tripped when I went to the bathroom so they called the ER and god damn what a waste of $13000 they sent me in there and IVd me and all that ---- just to find out all I needed to do was sleep for 6 hours.

Sometimes I wonder why I still choose to exist.

Dude, that's really rough. Tough break, I've been there. At least you're still alive, you didn't get in your car and take out a family or crash it on the interstate and then spend 2 weeks in county for DUI.. I went to AA for 6 months after that, my mentor (personal friend of mine) said if you ever want a drink really bad, call me up, I'll come over and we can both want a drink really bad together.. Gotta admire the courage of my buddy Randy, he to this day is still on the wagon (been 7 years for him now), I dropped out of AA after 6 months (that was a few years ago), but currently I live the clean life of sobriety and it sucks.. I'm sure I'll go back to my old crazy ways one day, but in no way will it ever get as bad as it's been in the past.

Nice to see that your friends at HMT are there for ya buddy (minus Sinner) (j/k).
