Driving w/ no downpipe

Default Driving w/ no downpipe

I want to know if you guys think it will be ok to drive my car to the muffler shop to get the downpipe made.
As long as I stay out of boost and keep the rpm's down u think it will be ok??

its about 12 mins form here

Do you mean NOTHING at all coming off the turbo? I have driven quite a bit with about a two foot pipe coming off my turbo. I have never tried it with nothing though. I don't think it could hurt it too bad though. As long as you don't go driving through a gravel pit.

well its a T25 it has the O2 housing but thats all.

I just need ot get the muffler shop so they can fab me up a downpipe

should be no problem. just be careful. watch for cops! it's gonna be very loud when you put load on the engine.

I did that for a while. It's no problem at all. It just sounds like there's a big turbod diesel truck coming, then you see a little honda pop out around the corner. It really isn't that loud, especially under boost. The only thing you should be careful of is driving through lots of gravel or water...

you will be fine with just the o2 bung, its not as horrible as everyone is saying, but its still a lil loud, becareful tho when you get on it it can have afterburn. (this looks dope at night but burns a hole thru your radiator) heh

Ive done it. you cant give it any gas without make a loud noise. I drove the back way to the muffler shop.

make sure your exhaust exit isnt pointing towards anything that can melt easy. like fan shroud and hoses.
