Default dpfi convert to mpfi. need help please!!

im having trouble starting up my car,i think i did all the wiring right, the thing im confuse is the distributor, i just connect each wire that is the same color to it. and i have left the blue/yellow and blue/green strip and connecting them to c1 and c2 but still my car does not want to start, and would it work if i use a pm6 from a dohc zc to do the dpfi to mpfi, or do i need the sohc pm6 ecu to get it to start.
When i try to start it its sound like its back firing. please helpp!!
