since sometime last year down2turbo has been using new shafts on their turbos..
mine has about 20k miles on it now and i dont have any problems.. it has the same amount of play as it did when i first got it plus it does not leak oil..
i talked to the people from down2turbo when i first got mine and they did say you HAVE to use a restrictor on there turbo or it will leak oil.. so i used one from the first day in installed it..

I had all my oil lines done correctly, drain was straight down then smooth 90 into pan, and the stealth mode feedline goin into the turbo, i primed the turbo good before i started it. Started the car and drove it maybe 5-10 minutes and there was oil coming out the intake side, didnt even get to hit any real boost....
