Re:double clutching?
no, go slap the moron who told u that too.
lol.. double clutching is as follows..
you are in first gear, ready to change to 2nd. Push the clutch in, put gear selector in neutral, release clutch, push clutch in again, select gear #2 and release clutch.
double clutching was NEEDED (unless u can rev-match.. don't ask) back in the day when they didn't have syncros to match the new gears speed to the tires.

Yeah no ----.
Go find yourself an old truck with granny gear and drive around in second gear and try to shift into first. If you don't know how to double clutch your not getting that thing into first gear without grinding the ---- out of the tranny.

Re:double clutching?
Try this...
Start off by stomping on the gas. keep it to the floor. when its time to change gears keep your foot on the gas, press the clutch and change gear while keeping your foot on the gas...
oh yeah. this is very good for your clutch, gives you extra horsepower and stuff, so you can win races by miles not inches.
