I dont like the focus's but this car moves pretty good..
We went out in it 2 weekends ago(me, kamil, WOT kevin) and blew the doors off of a suped up mazda speed6(turbo). the owner o it f was making fun of the focus until he tried to rip on us and then I watched keven flip him the bird as we flew past them.
he has the new bumpers to put on but he realy doesnt give a ---- of how it looks.

ive had turbo flutter for like the last 5 months, i check my turbo 2 weeks ago and absolutly no shaft movement. i understand make 2 years itll hurt the turbo, but i will have moved on to a holset by then.

So then when you need cash you can only sell a blown turbo for half the price of a running one. Smooth move. You'll need a BOV, just get one, flutter does hurt the turbo; however, I too do like the sound.

Fucus question, not related to your motor or the rust......
Any other issues (other than the ignition switch) to look out for?
Lets just say 2.3L TurboCoupe driveline using Kugel kit
Perfect Sleeper, with have the 4 cylinder turbo sound, but RWD traction.

honestly i know nothing about the 2.3 duratechs. 2.0L zetec the ignition switch is a bitch so i took out the teeth in the lock. other than that the tranny is garbage, my 3rd gear syncro is shot again. after a rebuild by ford a year ago. other than that the focus is a sold car.

2.3L inline 4 that was first used in Pintos and Mustangs II's, also used in 84-86 Mustang SVO's and Thunderbird TurboCoupes.
Iron block, good for 500 whp with proper tuning.......and RWD.......
