I aint into all the tatoo on the car ----.. But i'll tell you that once your reasonably happy with your hp. then some of this stuff is worthwhile.. Bigger rims create gyro and tractability.. Bigger breaks are better breaks. Low profile tires dramatically decrease tire roll in turns.. body kits? well if you dont go overboard and make it look like a cheap hooker.. The best thing i see is the stock rice burners running those big fat loud as hell mufflers. They aint doing ---- for the car as the entire exhaust system is restrictive and the bore of the muffler becomes irelavant.
I mean if you are running a hybrid turbo and 3" pipe all the way back to this muffler then it makes sence. but for these guys it just makes you loud!!

i just have one thing to say POSERS SUCK. i rather have form over function anytime ,its all about the rush of speed that gets me off.I have alot of scoops on my fiero but they all serve a function.My side ones cool off my engine ,my trunk scoop allows hot air to leave the engine bay. hood scoop is for the radiator and frt spoiler is to prevent my frt from lifting and i just lifeted my stock wing to 5 in to plant the back end and my 17's are for traction.I just hate posers who don't have a respect to the sport or cars for that matter

heh, i love rice boys. i go around owning all of them and their 3.5 inch mufflers sitting behind 1 inch exhaust piping in a 1999 dodge dakota SLT v8. its not a fast truck by any means, its an auto and it takes 5 seconds between each gear for it to shift. but i own all hondas, even ones with i/h/e, the v6 mustangs and even the turbocharged eclipses are no match. i don't know how they made those eclipes so slow. another funny thing is all the eclipses with the hood thing, the ones that aren't turbocharge but have the hood bump anyways. so funny.

i saw the worlds most riced out car yesterday.... i was driving on the freeway from san diego... and saw the most hidiouse thing ever.... it was a 90 civic hatch... i would guess it had.. maybe 3 wings... and 20,000 vents,bumps, and scoops... (I guess he was taken on that simpsons episode where homer is putting speed holes in the car?) but stock exhaust? and a blinding white interior...what the hell was up with that

I guess I bypassed all the rice since I got into jap cars thru nissan z cars. first one was a 75 280z, second one was a 77 280z with an 82 turbo motor in it. I didnt have any money to spend on rims or even stickers. putting gas in was first priority. my friend kept wanting me to paint them yellow with a big racing stripe down the middle! I told him I had way too much attention from the cops already! anyhow, I think I outgrew any rice tendencys before I could afford them.
Main problem with the wagon now is most people think its just a slow wagon so I don't get to play at the redlights much. gonna take it to the dragstrip soon though, and have some fun cause the exhaust is quiet on it, poeple will be trying to figure out how it went so fast.

Thats even better.... when people dont suspect it.... ive seen a turbocharged colt at the street races beat the ---- out of a mustang. it was so rediculous... you had to be there.... the idiot in the 5.slow thought he was the ---- burning out before they staged... and the dude in the colt didnt do ---- until it was their turn to roll... when the dude blew the air horn.. the colt hauled *** while the mustang was still burning out.... then everyone found out it was turbocharged..... everyone laughed at him thinking he was gonna get his *** handed to him... but he proved them wrong.....

What do you guys think of black rims or steelies? I don't like rice, but I painted my stock rims black because they were all chipped and scratched. I like the racer look of my car now, but would you guys consider this rice? BTW, I'm not stock under the hood, so I've got the speed to back up the look.

yup... nothing looks gayer than those stupid little LED's but its perfectly ok to paint your rims... I did when i got my car... it came with some cheap no name 15in aftermarket rims... there made out of aluminum so theyre really light.. so i kept them rather than get new ones, but i got tired of cleaning brake dust off of them so i cleaned them up sanded them and went to kragen and bought some black high temp engine paint and gave them a good coating. and now whenever there full of brake dust it looks like their powdercoated. what is gay and will get you ridiculed and possibly beat up by your friends... is getting those cheap immitation rim hubcaps.... nothing says "I am rice" better than some shiny chrome hubcaps
