Thanks guys. No honeymoon, we went on that mexico cruise a couple of months ago. I'm ok with that.
And the whole give up the car thing? ---- that. You have to have hobbies in life, no matter what situation your in. It just changes. Like, now I can't wait for my son to turn 8 so I can build him a Jr. Dragster. The hobbies are the same, they just turn into different projects.

having a house and wife is your business, not a bad thing tho... although i love kids i prolly wouldnt have them until i was like 24+ just because of money issues, and also because the husband goes from getting all the attention to last as soon as the first kid is born. Mak you need to start savin girl, i have like 3k saved up and im 20 and unemployed...

Amen. I couldn't imagine having another life or two to worry about. I have enough trouble worrying about my ----.

But yeah, it's not so bad man. I wish I was married with kids and ---- because then.......ummmm....I could......well....it would be great....I think. :P

It sucks that some people are so down on life.Its not that bad.I never wanted kids either .

To all those who say that they dont wnat a familey or you couldnt see your self with kids,just waite.Your not there yet but you will be some day.For now just enjoy life and have as much fun/sex as you can .

dude, that's not what i was saying at all, i love my daughter more than anything, and even though i wish my wife and i had waited, i wouldn't change anything now. i wasn't saying i didn't want my daughter, i was just saying that having a family is expensive and being a 22 year old man, there are a lot of things i would like to spend my money on besides buying a house, although i know it's a good investment, i would like to take that 10,500 bucks and build a mean *** engine but obviously i have my priorities half way straight, or i would have never saved it in the first place

It just means you have to save up longer to work on your car... I'm in a similar situation. G/F and I are moving out, we have 10g saved up for 1st and last, and furniture etc.. have about 4g left over, she said I can take it for my car .

It's just about your wife's.. uhm, ..leisure activities that would get to me...

yeah, that's one good thing, she has never supported my car habit or let me spend money on it (that's why my cca i.c. and stealth mani are hiding in my trunk), but she said once we get this house, she's gonna start paying bills with me (i paid every single bill before), and let me start spending money on my car, all she wanted was a house, and now she has it. as far as her "leisure activities", i didn't really tell the whole story behind that, and it's more than i care to get in to, but let's just say that we've had a rocky first two years, mostly all because of me, so i don't blame her for what she did, and the extent of it wasn't really bad anyways
