The CFR is playing huckabee as a safecard to win. He's white, protestant, doing well in the south, and they have him adopting policies from ron paul with twists like removing the IRS but adding fair tax He has his own ------- link on the CNN page for no reason.

You'd be poorly mistaken if you play down the interests of the Rockefeller's.

no federal income taxe eh? thats about teh stupidest idea ever. so what ethe ---- will we do with a nation that has an astronomical debt and a MAJOr source of income gone? cause here in VA we ditche the car tax and about a year later we now have 5-6K fines for reckless driving. you dont get something from nothing and if you take away one source of income the gov will find it elsewhere but rest sured its still gonna come out of your pocket.

if this dude has a stance of where the money will come from, then School me. Maybe I'll learn something.

his stance is that all those entitlement programs that eat up all that money will be gone.

unfortunately also he would gut the military/cia/fbi with that. which is totally within the consitution as a power of the federal government... its actually what the feds are supposed to do...

Actually, he'll bring troops home from 700 bases around the world in 130 countries that don't do dick for us anyway. There's no reason to have them there, and that savings alone will cover the difference. Plus, the government was never intended to have the power to take your money before you ever see it. It seems like an outrageous position, but if you think about it, it's true.

Johnny, he'll keep just enough military/government investigating to get the job done efficiently. The fact is that when the FBI and the CIA fail to do thier job and stop things like 9/11 (when they had enough information to do so, but just weren't competant) we get another agency to pay for called Homeland Security. I'm sure once all 3 of them fail to do thier jobs we'll get a 4th, and a 5th, etc...... How stupid are we to realize we fund agencies to do a job, and when they fail we have to pay for another one? How about we just have competence?
