Like someones going to buy a brand new car and drop a v8 in Just like when people used to buy the victory motorcycles from polaris and they would order the stroker kit. Its not a polaris factory option but its a dealership thing.

Re: domestic lover's worst nightmare
Comments: The Chevrolet Chevy II was introduced in 1962 as a budget vehicle with a more conventional front engine, rear drive layout than the unusual Chevrolet Corvair. The Chevrolet Nova was the more upscale trim of the Chevy II. The first engines were definitely not sporty, a weak 194 I6 with 120 bhp. A 327 V8 engine swap was technically made available in the mid year as a dealer installed option, but the option added another 75% to the car's price and was not very popular.

GM engineers went out of their way to make this difficult and displeasing to the mechanic, be it backyard or professional.
Look at it this way, the arguement was if a 350 was available(at least that was what my post was concerning), not a V8. The 350 was produced from 1969-2000. It is a physical impossibility for what Random and you say happened, actually did happen. It wasn't even in existence at the time.
