Doesn't anybody have anything in stock?
Well the Battle of the Import at Pacific Raceways in Washington is on the 28th of this month so I decided to buy some new slicks and drag wheels. I did a little research and decided on MH 24.5x8.5x13 slicks and silver Lenso VPD 13x7.5 racing wheels. I am planning on building my motor this winter so I decided on the 24 inch slicks instead of the 22 inch. The lenso wheels are also pretty cheap and I like the way they look on my car.
I searched around a little bit and honda-tech has a few sponsers that sell them so I send out a few emails and give a few people a call. Well I guess everybody is fresh out of what I want. I have searched quite a few online forums seeing if I could get some used wheels/tires, but haven't really had any luck (I really wanted new ones anyways). I'm really not sure what I am going to do, but I need some slicks before the 28th. I guess I will just keep searching online and hopefully get lucky, but I don't have much time. I thought ordering 2 weeks ahead of when I needed them would be fine, but I guess not. I could probably get some different wheels and different size slicks, but I really don't want to spend $600 on something that I don't want, ya know?
My car is pretty dialed in right now so I was all excited to get my own slicks for the track and run 12's in them. I might be able to borrow some slicks again or hopefully find a used set, I am just really disapointed I couldn't get the wheels/tires I wanted.

go to the junkyard, get some tires and do burn-outs on them.
homemade slicks.

Hell I don't even care about the price anymore. At first I was trying to shop around, but now I just want them before the 28th. Hopefully some place will get these in stock soon and I can just overnight them.
