Let us not forget that our country was founded by people who disagreed with English rule. If the Revolutionary had not been successful then they would have been tried for treason. By your logic they were anti English.

The Patriot Act. End of story.
Supremacy of the military.
Well first we invaded Iraq under false pretenses And it looks as if we are going to invade Iran as well. We have lots of problems going on at home. If you don't see them you must live in a bubble.
Sexism.

I don't claim to be a political expert, but I am also not naive enough to believe that everything is as it appears and that all people in positions of power have everyones best interest at heart.

everything you listed there is far into fantasy
there are more minority and women in bush's admin than any other.
obsession with national security? remember that when you are either blown up or saved. because one or the other "national security" will be a factor
yes they were anti-english, which was the right thing to do. if you want to live in a socialistic/communist state, move there. the US didnt become the greatest, and most free country ever on earth because of socialisim.

I do not want to live in a socialist or communist state. You are further illustrating what I stated earlier conservatives and liberals. How could you possibly construe what I said to mean that I support a socialist or communist state. I love my country just as you do.
If you have not read the Patriot Act then I suggest you do so promptly.
I am sorry but I refuse to trust an administration that used 911, there is some compelling evidence and video to suggest that it was a government op, to unite us and ignored intelligence reports to get us to support a war in the most unstable region of the planet.. Don't get me wrong. I support our troops but the fact remains that we were led to believe that Iraq was a threat when in fact it has been reported over and over that they posed no more of a threat to us than they did after the Gulf War.
I wish the reality was only fantasy. Then I would not have to be terrified of those who I entrust my safe keeping.
