that pan hard bar will break off and the rear end will sway a good foot back and fourth, I've reppaired a car that was like that, wasn't cool. get rid of that piece of ----, its a safety hazard

i dont see what the big deal is, all he has to do is grind it down to the bare metal, then weld some new steel over the hole and grind it down and undercoat it again... its not terminal

anything can be done/fixed ,just need to ask yourself if its worth it (time/money/headaches)

we've repaired a few of 3gen civic's 1gen crx's they all rot in the same place
