with the engine in good condition (stock DOHC 5sp) I ran 15.9 in the quarter mile with no mods. I think they are a good sleeper for the little money you pay. 160WHP now and a little faster than 15.9 
But...then you still just have a neon

The bad news is it has a rod through the block. I found a 9K motor for $650 so that fixes that. I plan on turboing it and selling it on Ebay. I will do the write up and post pics on here as I go.

I forgot to mention it has indiglo gauges and a B&M short throw shifter. The poor bastard couldn't afford to have the engine replaced, so it sat in his driveway for a year until his "mommy" made him get rid of it. It looks like it's going to be an easy car to turbo. There's like a foot between the back of the motor and the firewall. The only hard part is going to be running piping. I'm either going to have to put the battery in the trunk or relocate it somehow to have somewhere to run the piping. I will keep updating this post as it progresses!
