I think about my ex a lot too, she just texted me literally a few minutes ago. I haven't replied. At first it was friends with benefits, but then she got clingy, so I dropped her cold turkey. Yesterday was the first time I seen/talked to her in months and it was only because a mutual friend of ours that i was having dinner with wanted to catch up with her. I really didn't want to call her, but I did it for her (our mutual friend).

In conclusion, you are like my ex, I was playing games and so is she. Don't even fucken bother with her no more.

Never once have I thought of an ex, the reason for the new girl is because she is far more superior to the ex in many ways, its like upgrading cars, you wouldnt downgrade from a ferrari enzo to a cavalier by choice, why would you go from your far more superior girlfriend to someone like your ex?

There are certain circumstances where some guys just cant do any better, so they stick it out with ex's or friends of ex's instead of looking to new heights and finding something alot better.
